Result PCSO - Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office

Result pcso is a Philippine charity sweepstakes office that conducts lotto and digit games. It also manages major jackpot-prize games like Ultra Lotto 6/58, Grand Lotto 6/55, Super Lotto 6/49, Mega Lotto 6/45, and Lotto 6/42 as well as EZ2 and 2D Lotto.

Moreover, it is tasked to do fundraising for various purposes such as health programs, medical assistance, charities, etc. It is a government-owned entity that was established in 1833.

Currently, it offers its services Result pcso nationwide and abroad. Among its programs is the PCSO Medical Assistance Program (MAP) that provides financial support to disadvantaged Filipinos in need of hospitalization due to severe illness, accident or disability. To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements:

As with most other emergency service workers, PCSOs can be subject to assaults. However, there is a legal defence of ‘reasonable code of conduct’ which is a well-established and proven defence to a common assault and which is specifically written into the law (for example leading two disputing parties away from each other to prevent a fight – technically an arrest but still considered lawful).

In September 2018, section 1 of The Assaults on Emergency Workers (Offences) Act 2018 created an either-way offence for any attack on a police officer, PCSO, PCSP or volunteer (including those carrying out voluntary duties). This act makes it an offence to physically touch, harass or injure an emergency worker whilst they are at work, which includes a PCSO.

The long-running British television soap opera Hollyoaks featured PCSO Carmel McQueen played by Gemma Merna for many years. Similarly the BBC series No Offence featured a character called PCSO Sue Jenkins. PCSOs have also appeared in a number of comedy sketches, including one in the BBC’s popular sketch show The Mitchell and Webb Look.
